V pondělí 19. září 2013 proběhl v rámci konference Nadace Forum 2000 námi spoluorganizovaný diskusní panel Dealing with the Past.

Pozvaní zahraniční hosté se s návštěvníky panelu podělili o svůj pohled na několik okruhů problémů:

Jaký je nejvhodnější postup ke zpřístupňování citlivých materiálů vytvořených o občanech bezpečnostními složkami totalitních a autoritativních režimů?
Jaké ponaučení si můžeme vzít z procesu vyrovnávání se s minulostí v Německu, Polsku, Slovensku a Maďarsku?
Jak se vyrovnávat s politickými a společenskými tlaky, které přináší zkoumání traumatických událostí z nedávné historie?
